I am about to attach some insulated plasterboard to an existing (flat and straight) plasterboarded wall. I know its not technically woodworking but will be housing my tools once done. As i have always got good advice i thought i would ask you all for some this time too.
The existing wall is covered in lining paper on p/board - Does this need to be removed?
Whats the best way of attaching the new insulated plasterboard. (the exisitng is dot and dabbed not battened). I will be adding a mechanical fixing for fire safety but want to stick it up for speed. So is it dot dab (if so as the wall is flat is there a more economic way of doing it ie less adhesive) or some other sticky way?
Cheers in advance for your help.
