plans for occasional tables

I am looking to make some occasional tables, for example the nesting kind or similar. Can anyone point me in the right direction for some to buy please. I have tried several searches but so far to no avail.

As my wife is looking for some 'light' wood ones could anyone recommend a wood which would fit the bill? I have some sapele but she thinks this is a little dark.

James Wright, of Wood By Wright, recently did a build video series on his YouTube channel and I believe he has plans on his website - Should be a fairly easy job to alter the dimensions for however many tables you want nested, I think?
