Hi can anyone recommend a iron for an older stanley 9 1/2 block plane? It's the type with grooves rather than the slots Thanks.

The hole in the centre is just a hair under the size required for the older Stanley and Record models with a ten groove adjustment mechanism, nothing a little judicious filing won't sort out.

Dandy piece of kit for the price. Nothing similar available in the US (the NOS stanley stuff can be pretty soft and is about the same price).
