anyone know where i can by a stanley no 5 plane botom, i might have droped my new plane

The Stanley USA site sell spares for Stanley stuff but will probably cheaper to buy a scrapper from the Bay?

You might have....or you did? 8) Took me a while to find a replacement base for my Record No5, but then I needed a 1950's sole that'd match the other components, one eventually came up on e-bay. I reckon thats your best chance, pick up one there, a complete one and take what you need off it and keep, or sell on the other parts.
