I have orders for 4 of these by the way I'm still looking for a name for them this one is in holly and stands 12" tall x 3" at the top rim the rest will be in African Blackwood

Are the top bits hollow so they can take flowers etc?

I like them both, but have a marginal preference for the first one. Having said that, I do like the foot detail of the second one, the way the black colour oozes onto the foot is excellent.

Yes they are hollow but I think flowers would make it look odd but then I'm odd anyway :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
The last two I have made the spindles a bit slimmer on these two other than that they are the same size this is the last of them thank goodness I dont like making to many of the same thing but the cash will come in handy it will go towards my new filter

Thank You woody im looking Forward to it Nice company and good Turning tips always taken Onboard from such a experenced Tutor. In The Short time looking at Your Work and having The Time To be in your workshop has made Me Enjoy My Hobby immensly And Spurred Me on to Other Things also improved the quality of my work.
