Gas light and coke it is. If I still has a full compliment of brain cells I would have thought of that.
That was the name before the gas industry was nationalised and became regional gas boards. So the one on ebay is considerably older than mine.

So although I have known them for over 50 years as gas board pliers, thats not completely accurate after all.
