I picked up two nice old panel saws at a car boot sale last weekend, W Marples & Sons 20.5 inch 8.5 ppi with clear stamp on blade c1870 and a Sorby with Kangaroo medallion, 20" 9 ppi with a clear etch, c1910 ??
Does anyone know anything about the Sorby "086 Patent Machine Ground" as shown on the etch?
Have looked in BSSM but no details of Sorby's machine grind?
