Have lately not so much in my workshop engaged in wood turning, too preoccupied with other things, as is the complete renovation of the kitchen.
But I have not seen all day in the kitchen, am I still found the time to tool-making and have made me a chattertool and received satisfactory results with it.
I also made oak box with a lid, with a 50mm beech insert with chatter decoration.
The lidded box is round 130mm and 82mm high, and finished with water-based acrylic paint.
Here some pictures of the tool chatter, and the oak lidded box.
Cheers, Ad

I like it Ad. It looks to me as if the key way you put in the shaft is on an angle, or do you just bend the blade. Also I presume you machined the brass as well. Is the end ring fastened to the shaft with a set screw , or silver solder or something else?

Dennis, indeed it's an angled keyway, the ring is not a brass ring, but a steel ring.
This ring is fastened to the shaft only with a bolt, gives enough friction to hold the ring on his place
Thanks, Ad
