We have a few steps going down to the lower garden which have got very slippery ever since we built a garage in front of them (they get less sunlight now), so I was thinking about adding sand to exterior paint and giving them a coat or two.

My question is does this work? I remember reading about it somewhere but I am not sure if it will really work or not. If not can you recommend anything that we can use on the steps?

Cheers

Mike

I painted the OSB boards for my workshop floor with a non-slip paint from Focus of all places, it's surprisingly effective (although it does appear to be basically paint with sand in it!).
