New Freud Router

Frued are introducing a new router in their range. Called the FT3000 it is already are in production for the European market. The motor is the same as on the current FT2000 and FT2200 routers but Freud have added the ability to adjust the height and change bits from above the router table. Unusually they will be including a video CD with the manual covering some aspects of operation.

I think this is an excellent idea. When I bought my Leigh DT jig it came, not only, with the very best manual in the world but also a 45 minute video. A picture paints a thousand words.

Let's hope Freud are the first of many to provide this service.
