I love my dad
First up, my grandfather's Stanley #4, circa 1962-1964
Second, a Spinney #5, circa 1958 and bought through the Burlington catalogue.
Both have been in dad's loft for at least 20 years. The Spinney hasn't been used since the early 1980's, the Stanley last saw use around ten years ago.
Not that I'm wanting to sell but any ideas on value? I need a rough guesstimate for my insurance. (hammer)
There's also a Stanley rebate plane with all the cutters in it's box from the same era as the Spinney, a small block plane and solid metal (not sure if steel or cast iron) nosing plane. Pics to follow.
