Nice one Mike My neck rig is loosely based upon an H-girder in section with it's heavier end adjacent to a typical neck position, but also has an adjustable headstock pivot like your's. I use mine in much the same manner as a solar and having it set at 90deg to my bench makes it easier to work from all sides without needing to re-set anything.
