Motor on my old ML8 died today - just started squeaking and getting worse, quickly! Suspect the bearings have had it. After much cursing the selection of bolts holding it on (including the obligatory square roof bolt) I've got it off and starting to look for a replacement. Thinking I may as well go 3 phase and inverter while I'm at it? Does anyone have experience of the bosch rexroth inverters? They look perfect to me - the control panel is detachable so I can have the box in the lathe stand out of the dust and the control pad outside.
