The daughter and her partner were out for a drive last week, and happened upon a roadside stand selling bags of seasoned firewood, 3 for a tenner.
The bags consisted mainly of beech, with some oak, and at least one piece of birch.

This piece of oak certainly looks (to me) too good to be used in a log burner.

Finish is shellac based friction polish.
 
At least the bags had some reasonable sized bits in it. You have done a great job on the bangle, now all you have to do is turn one for this months challenge :twisted: :lol: :lol: :lol:
