Evening folks.
I've started stripping and repairing my ls1013 sliding mitre saw (long time coming), the rails of the saw had some corrosion on them which I have buzzed over with a dremel and a brass brush attachment. Luckly the rails don't seem to have much bad damage at all (didn't have to remove them from the saw even) but the finish is tarnished - they look like a thick walled stainless steel.
Is there anything I can use to tidy them up a bit? tried a bit of metal polish on a mop but it made little difference, I don't want or expect a great shiny finish but an improvement would be nice. Also the ally bed has tarnished to an extent, any product that I can use on both??
Thanks
