hi folks, can anyone recommend a magazine which is suitable for someone with woodworking skills but not too advanced. cheers bw

I'd recommend books from your friendly local library as being much better than magazines, and cheaper too.

British Woodworking, Furniture & Cabinet Maker I used to buy

But look out for Charles Hayward's books - generally very cheap S/H?

I was given a load from someone on freecycle. He'd been let down so many times that they were practically on their way to the skip when I collected them. Great reading but poor value if you buy new. As has been said already, get some books. Second hand they often go for £3-£4, and one new magazine can cost that. Good for current adverts but, as I said, poor value.
