Makita mitre saw

I am going to buy a mitre saw that will be used for several applications. There are so many out there to choose from. I will not buy a cheap one from the likes of screwfix. I have naarroed it down to the Makita LS1016L as it runs on 4 rails and does not need a lot of room behind the saw. I was wondering if any member had one and if so could give me their appraisal of it. Many thanks.

I looked at them years ago when they came out in the US but since then I've read a lot of bad things about the new models. Poor build quality and runout.
