Does anyone know if anything is wrong over at the English Woodworker?

I have had a couple of vices on order for a few months, and as my sister is coming to Italy next week I asked for them to be delivered before end of this week.

Now despite numerous phone calls and emails, I have had no reply / answer.

I also see that their facebook page and blog / website have not been updated for a few weeks.

I am slightly concerned, not about my vices so much, but that everything is okay over there.

Anyone know anything?

Funnily enough I checked over at their blog yesterday as I hadn't had any messages about new posts. Seems the last blog post was mid-June and nothing since. I don't know what's happening but do recall Richard had collapsed/fainted - due to fumes from a neighbouring workshop (Fibreglass?) - perhaps they've had to move out temporarily?

But they would then have more time to answer emails and phone. A few weeks ago Helen said they should be ready within a week. I only hope they took a holiday and Richard wasn't incapacitated badly by fumes

Helen replied so they are still with us, however they are having difficulties. In sure we wish them a speedy return to normality.

I had a brief correspondence with Helen a few weeks ago (telling them about Nick G.'s accident). She said then they were extremely busy at the moment (which was one reason they weren't at Peter Sefton's this year).

I get the feeling (possibly wrong!) that it's a combination of the new site and many more orders recently. I've no doubt they'll surface soon.
