I'm inlaying some veneer and am wondering about getting some sort of magnification to help get really nice clean join lines..
I saw these headband ones but not convinced about the light as I have an illumination headband and find that the light beam is so narrow as to be virtually useless. Can never get it shining where it needs to be.

So there is this one which might fit the bill.

I do need glasses for close work as the accommodation in my eyes is pretty duff now. It's got to the stage where I have one pair of specs that gets me fairly close, another to get really close and if i need to get right up close then it's a case of removing the long-distance contact lens, getting close and squinting. Presumably one of these approaches will work with any of the above (ideally one where I wear one of the pairs of glasses.
TIA
