I think most of us were aware of it already, we just like to keep quiet about it. :lol:

My understanding is that there are heavy reserves and it will not go to the lowest bidder.

there is also to small matter of using an agent for collection of just about anything as well - makes sense for much of the machinery but not for the item I want(ed) (unless I miss-understood it all - which wouldn't be the first time)

Maximach were a tool and machinery dealer that went out of business, whihc probably explains the range and quality.
 
Lot of crazy prices, £550 plus 15% for a 2 bag extractor, sold by most dealers for £375.

But some of the big stuff was good value
