Hi,

Had a few days holiday in Cornwall and visited the gardens at Heligan, which are well worth a trip if you're in the area.

Whilst there we came across a woodturning workshop/studio with a couple of lathes, I think one was a Record CL4 or similar and the other, something large with outboard turning capability -sorry that's a bit vague but it wasn't that close!

Anyway, to the point, there was a sign advertising for a woodturner to produce items for the shop on site from the timber felled on the estate. Unfortunately I live 380 miles away so it's a bit of a commute too far for me!

Suit anyone?

Cheers,

Neil.

Wonderful place, the lost gardens of Heligan, I am sure there are members on here from in and around the area, well spotted. I just helped move my parents out of Cornwall, sad day as I love the place, as do my nippers.

I second that though, great place to visit.
