Hello.
I have a small collection of Hand Drills and I need some help in identifying the hand drill. Maybe someone knows how to help?
Chuck does not have the original. I know.

PS: Please excuse my English. I wrote with the help of Google Translate.

Hi MrRiff. Welcome to the forum. Kindly excuse dovetaildave, he's had one too many... :D

I can't help you either, but I like your coll..., err accumulation of eggbeaters and breast drills (as shown on your blog). One day (when I've some spare time) I'll have to try google translation.

Cheers, Vann.

Someone will be along shortly with info for sure... could be Scouse, maybe AndyT, several others. It looks great, very clean original condition - a nice one. And you like your Millers Falls too... sound judgement I think.

Hello MrRiff, I have what looks like one of these. Picked it up in a second-hand shop a few years ago. The gear casing (pressed steel) is stamped from the inside with raised lettering:-

POLAND
Hope this helps.

Hello Mr Riff,
SORRY, I have just noticed that the drill I just mentioned is ALREADY on your "BLOG" (it looks very similar). I should have looked at your BLOG before sending my reply. Nice collection!

Regards,

Tudor

Thanks. No problem.
This is not PWWe10. Also not PWWe13. Too different.

I have one of these, mine was made by "Metabo" I believe. It has two speeds, slow for wood and fast for steel.
I've had it for the best part of fifty years, still gets used occasionally, one of my better buys!
There was a bigger version if my memory serves me well, maybe 50mm length, bigger chuck?

It's Qualcast.

If you do a Google image search for "Qualcast Drill" you will see plenty of similar ones, mostly from eBay.
I think I can just about make out the last three letters on your one.
Qualcast were discussed here.
