Way to go David, by the looks of it you are getting a good finish, just remains to make 5 more exactly the same for a set

thanks for the kind remarks chas,
getting there albeit a little slower than some,
did quite a lot of green turning a few weeks ago but still not dry enough
to finish off,
will post pictures at a later date,
regards
david.

Yes, I like it. If you want me to nit-pick  , my preference would have been for a slightly more clearly defined break between bowl and stem, but that's purely a matter of taste.

I like the shape, it's different to the usuasl goblet shape and, as said, you seem to have a good finish which is half the battle. Keep 'em coming.

Pete

thanks again for your kind remarks
finish is one coat of sanding sealer
and two coats of wood wax 22 buffed up

David , did you have the design in mind before starting ?

Looks good , not to fussy , nice flowing shape and looks to be a good finish

Well done :p

hi blister
yes i had a design in mind for a small goblet
and didn't want to do any fine detail(being my first attempt
at a goblet,
finish was sanding sealer followed by two coats of woodwax 22.

david.
