Hi all,
New member to the site, wouldn't normally jump straight in with a question but I have a flat roof leaking and was wondering if anybody here has had experience using liquid rubber roofing? The felt roof is around 25 years old and has chippings which i understand would need to be removed prior to painting/sealing with the liquid rubber. I suppose the main questions are
1 Is the liquid roof a viable option.
2 Would i be better to remove existing roof and just completely renew.
Thanks in advance.

Just been there with my workshop roof, it finally gave up the ghost all aver at once after 35 years, it’s quite a job removing the chippings, in the end I used a mattock to scrape them loose. Then the guy did his thing with a top quality hot felt again, it was what he recommended and it will last me out!
