Lidl needle descaler - anyone tried them?

Hi all,
Does anyone have an opinion on the Lidl Parkside needle descaler? They have them on offer this Thursday for £20. I would only have occasional use so don't want to spend big money.

They are great if you are removing barnacles and crud from the hull of a ship, other than that they are a but rough for most applications.
