I have the chance to buy a mint condition 24" jig for £200.

Sound like a good deal or should i spend the extra £100 and get a super jig?

go for the D4- it is the premium range that they do. There is very little difference between the D4 and the newer d4R- you can get the bits if you so desire. I cant remember what the d4 can do that the super jig cannot- you may not even use the features.

Great jig though, at about the right price.
