Late entrant to this forum

Long term resident of a terraced stone cottage in the Cotswolds. Campervan traveller across Europe - well, the warmer bits. Lifetime hobby woodworker with a brief experience as a teacher of woodwork just as the then govt. was demolishing craft skills education. (Don't get me started!) Main interest is in 'cottage' furniture, e.g. cupboards, dresser, doors, Shaker style hanging utensils, ark / hutch shaped chests and some wood-turning. Currently almost at a standstill while I rebuild garage workshop and try to keep basic diy going. Enjoy designing and can spend many hours exploring ideas, reading 'old' woodworking books, thinking about life and craft and skills. Aka 'procrastination'. Withy.
PS Pen-name taken from 'Withy Orchard' which was an earlier family home just above the Blackmore & Langdon Nursery, The Hollow, in Bath.
