ITECH 01332 table saw fence issue

I have had the above table saw for 2 years. Recently I have noticed that the fine movement knob is not engaging and the fence is often out of alignment from front to back. I notice that there is some kind of fine tape stuck to the fence that allows the fence to slide easily. I think this has worn down and perhaps the cause of the problem. Can anybody tell me what this tape is and where to obtain please??

I have packaging machines and they use a PTFE Anti Friction Tape, might be worth looking into that.
