Finished cleaning and de rusting the beds, slides and chucks on the Holbrook so decided to look into the gearbox. expected to see sludge and rust as for that last 13 years it has been in damp places including about seven years outside in the rain. But it was shiny and clean. even at the bottom under the oil, no sign of damp.

so tomorrow top it up with a few gallons and wrestle the hundredweight lid back on and we will be good to go
