Hi I have a Nova XP lathe.
When I first turn it on I run the lathe for about 5 minute and it cuts out altogether.
No error code on the machine, after about 5 minutes the lathe powers up and then a minute later cuts out again 5 minutes lathe it turns on again.
It keeps doing this all the time.
If I turn the lathe off there is power still on the machine because after 5 minutes the low power error comes on and then it powers off due to switching off, turn it on and the cycle of cutting out and back in again.
I don't know if it's the machine fuse one of the two boards or something else.
Please if anyone has any ideas.
I did try the www.teknatool.com lathe website but did not help.

I'd say send a message to their tech support team - I've got the older version to yours and they were very helpful when I contacted them a few years back

To my not-very-knowledgeable mind that sounds like some sort of overheating protection kicking in and then turning off again, but definitely contact the support team for your lathe. Is it still within warranty?
