Hello
I am new to this forum but have used the site to find out a lot of excellent information.

I have a piece of newly cut oak which need to be cutto suitable size, but it has some signs of Honey Fungus. It it safe to turn? Are there any issues around health & safety?

Thanks in advance.

i believe you will need to wear a good face mask as when turning it you will release spores into the air which are not good to breathe..

If I had a garden I would NOT take the risk of spreading those spores around.

Fire wood, IMHO.
