.. Hi chaps,

Where do you all get your metal candlestick inserts from?? I found some out here which are quite cheap and then I needed to increase the mortgage for them to post them to me.

We have never used them and have yet to set fire to the house. However, as my stuff is now being sold by a third party, it seems it is necessary for wooden candlesticks to be fitted with inserts.

I got mine for the CS challenge earlier in the year from axminster, the cheaper ones but they are only about twice as thick as the foil containers mr kiplings apple pies come in, but they do the job of separating candle from wood. Definitely not a premium product, but then they'd cost more.

Ummmm.... I use 22mm copper end feed plumbing fittings in candle sticks.
They polish up nice.
