I've got a lovely bunch of onions I just made these for a bit of fun

I love these great job ten out of ten for thinking outside the box, with your permission i would like to try having a go at these oneday. What have you tied them up with is it raffia, oh! you just got the good ladies approval as well.

Please be my guest I copped them from someone else anyway and yes it is raffia and I platted it well you know what is going to happen to the first bunch don't you your good lady will lay claim to them LOL
 
You've got too much time on your hands LOL. I suppose you are going to do a complete veg basket now as an alternative to the fruit bowl?

You are probably spot on there woody, i forgot to ask what wood have you used the colouring looks spot on.

Good enough to eat! A basket of veg would be cool most things are turnable maybe with Christmas looming a bunch of sprouts would be fitting

I used yew, beech and some silver birch on this bunch but most woods will do even the red woods a few Christmases ago I made quite a few of these and sold the lot within a few hours at a Christmas fair
