Does anyone know if the Mafell F 80 or the Mafell F 160 guide rails are compatible with this saw? Mafell says only the S Guide (the 270mm guide that comes with the saw) is compatible, Axminster say these guides are compatible?

I received this from Mafell, in case you are interested:

you can also use the machine on the „normal“ guide rails, BUT:
The profiles of the flexi guide FX140 (204372) as well as the fixed guide rail track S (208169) just are 2mm thick.
The profile of all other guide rails (F80, F160, …) has a thickness of 5mm.

That means:
Right-angled cuts are no problem.
But as soon as you start tilting the machine, you will saw into the rubber lip with the saw blade.

So if you are just cutting without tilting the machine, it works perfect. Otherwise I would rather recommend the flexi guide FX140:

Flexi-Guide rail FX 140 1,4 m (4.6 ft) with splinter guard

If you’ve got the standard guide rails and the fence for the saw, you can use the fence as an outrigger and turn the rail around so the saw cuts the other side supported by the fence, well away from the rail at any angle.
Not sure if that helps though
