Glue press

Rutlands currently sells a glue press, probably a clone of the very expensive Plano 4-way press, called Dakota Clampo Panel Clamp.

It's tempting because it is nearly half-price.

Does anyone have any experience with this:

From the pic they look identicle to the plano clamps. I've used the planos plenty of times, but to be honest as long as you've got a good straight/square glue line you cant beat a stack of decent sash clamps

All depends if you need the space it saves I suppose

Also with the plano, I found that often when using biscuits, I couldn't get quite enough pressure using the round handles (they are held on with a square spline and the inside if the handles round off easily), and often added extra sash clamps anyways
