Hi All,
I have spent a while preparing some freecycle and reclaimed timber to make blockwork flooring for my hallway (I am going to attempt a basket weave pattern). The timber is climatising in the hall before final dimensioning. I am now wondering what the best glue is for sticking this to chipboard flooring (early 90's flooring so not moisture resistant). Lycol seems to be the no1 brand for flooring glue / filler / finish but all their documents spend most of the time telling you how to stick your timber to concrete. Previous posts on here about parquet and blockwork flooring do not go into specifics of types of adhesive.
Any recommendations of adhesive, filler and finish most welcome!
Thanks,
H.
