would that be from the ergonomics/anatmoy or to do with furniture construction?

Nice link Roger.

What I am really looking for is a site that shows the individual parts of furniture and there names, (the parts names).

I appreciate that there might not be a singular site.

Thanks again Roger.

Yet another good link, yet the inevitable "but", Sorry.

what I am really after is an illustration of furniture with there part names.

Am I asking for to much.

Gary, you might be better off with a book rather than a site. :-k My old stand-by, the Collins Complete Woodworker's Manual, has most bits and pieces explained in the design section - but there must be loads of others.

Cheers, Alf

Good suggestion Alf - logic rules

Also try some of the Judith Miller books Gary. They go into antique furniture of differing periods with the various points and parts illustrated. You can pick them up for a song at car boot sales
