I went to the workshop thinking I was going to turn some decorations for the Xmas tree. Putting some order to the mess I held the Escoulen chuck and that tickled me so hard that I turned something esle.
Here is what shout have been a Xmas decoration.

Bet that Xmas decoration don't get put away for 11 months of the year

Very Nice

Very nice, especially if that is not what it was intended to be :D

I take it you have an eccentric chuck? If so,in which order did you turn it ?(i.e. base first, stem first, lid first etc. - as I can't work it out  )

Yes I have an eccentric chuck, theEscoulen one.
I first turn the box and just a little stem, then the eccentric stem, then on the opposite direction the base.
I then I gave an overall go at the lid and carve it, put it on the box and finish turning the outside.
