Afternoon all

I started using Sea Monkey some time ago. I like it better than IE

Last week I updated to ver 2.3.3

Since then, if I navigate to another page using the mouse wheel or right click, the newly opened tab flickers as it loads.

It doesn't happen if I 'overwrite' the existing page with a left mouse click.

It doesn't happen at all in IE.

I've had a mooch round the preferences options but can't spot a likely suspect.

Anyone else noticed this?

Anyone found a fix for it?

Cheers

Dave

I can't duplicate your problem but I have no mouse on my lappy
Right clicking on a tab does not give me any options that flicker (or indeed anything that I find useful other than undo close tab which is a new one on me). If I want a new tab I use point and click with the touch pad - I have a 12" screen so everything is nearby.

I'm running XP3 which might be a difference?
Have to looked at the usenet newsgroup Mozilla.support.seamonkey ? maybe post a query there

Morning Bob

I use the 'open in new tab' facility if I want to, for instance, check new posts on the forum.

Each post then opens in a new tab and I can close them all with 'close other tabs' from the tab with the list.

I did have a quick look on the Seamonkey site. I'll try again later.

Just a note to close the thread.

I downloaded the update to version 2.5 today and the problem appears to have been solved.
