after the motor carked it in my table saw, a friend gave me a mof96 router that he said the motor had "died" on. After a good clean out ,polished the armature and replaced the knackered original bushes- hey presto it runs like a dream. the lord giveth and he taketh away i suppose !

Nice router too.. And you can get an 8mm collet for them. A bit meatier in the shank than 1/4" .
Last you for years that will!
