I've used it a lot, especially for a yew video editing desk for my son (see "yew video editing desk" in the Projects section of this website). It's been in use for five years now, and has resisted hot coffee cups and alcoholic drinks perfectly. Strongly recommended and I will try to find the sale offer!

Here's the desk top after finishing (4 coats, the last two very thinly applied), made from several pieces edge glued to show dramatic grain:

I use either the satin, gloss or English tint Fiddes hard wax oils as my main finishes. Simple to apply and durable finishes.
