Excellent Service from Bosch

I just thought I would give praise where it is due.
I purchased a Bosch PMF 180E multi saw around a year and half ago to do a specific job. This it did admirably and for the cost of the tool I would have been happy if I had put it in the bin there and then.
However as with these things I found other uses and whilst not used every week (or even month) it has become a useful tool in my arsenal. It was therefore disappointing to be half way through a simple cut and it to die on me. Thinking nothing ventured I phoned Bosch to enquire about the cost of repair. They quickly ascertained that the toll was within the 3 year warranty period and arranged collection.
Three days later I received a brand new machine complete with starter set of cutters.

I am nothing to do with Bosch and fully understand and agree that there are better quality tools out there, however this budget tool does what I require and the guarantee is worth the paper its printed on.

Had a similar experience a few years ago with a cordless drill, told to send back just the drill no batteries or charger and got a new drill with two batteries and charger by return, I was suitably impressed and bought the 36v sds and 36v combi because of that service, both of which survived years of abuse on site
