Having a problem with my Elektra bekum chop saw, its the kgs301 model. When starting up it takes a while (about 10secs) to get to full speed. I left it in to get fixed (it was about 2weeks before he even bothered to look at it) and he said it was the capacitor that needed replacing and it would cost £100. Just checked on the net for the part and it costs £15 delivered, so i was thinking of doing it myself but dont know if i would be able to. Does anyone know if its an easy job or am i just being tight pineappled?
