Where do you guys get bits from?

I have just got a flat top rollerball kit and the tube is 9.34 - the nearest bit I have is 9.5 adding a bit for error it would appear to be a bit loose :?

Would an imperial set be better maybe?

Cheers

Dave

hi dave, if you go to any engineering supliers you will get them. failing that i know turner-retreat sell them. you can give them a call on 01302 744344 hope this helps.

 I got the kit from TR - I could have ordered them at the same time!

Will see what I can find locally

Thanks

Dave

In case it's any help, my Zeus chart says that 9.34 mm is about half way between 23/64 and 3/8 in old Imperial sizes, or almost exactly the same as a letter U drill size in the even odder letter/number series. Letter U is actually 9.35mm, and a well stocked engineers supplier might still stock the old letter/number sizes.

Thanks for the replies - Chas drooling over your link, yet more turning p0rn

Regards

Dave
