Has anyone made a dolls house with dormer windows or could advise how to work out the dimensions?
I've made the basic construction of a dollshouse, with dormer window gables on the front elevation. My problem is the best way to calculate the required dimensions for the roof parts of the dormer - including the required bevel on the edge which joins the roof. I've already cut the angles on the supporting walls so the slope of the roof is not something I can change.
I've been using a combination of measuring, using a sliding bevel and just offering pieces up and trial and error, but I feel like there ought to be a 'method' of calculating the correct dimensions...?
