The GemRed stuff is very good. I bought the digital bevel guide box to check my table saw bevel angle and it produces very accurate results. I have now removed the rubbish bevel guide sticker from the table saw and installed a mount so I can use this guide instead when setting the angle (just removed the pointer and bolted a platform into the hole to hold the bevel guide instead). Unfortunately it doesnt work on the mitre guides when layed flat so also bought the digital angle rule to set these. Again works really well and I am very pleased with both gadgets. I bought mine from appleby woodturnings and they worked out cheaper than axminster with cheaper postage too.
They also supplied a 5% off code which can be passed on so if you use them enter Jubilee 5 at the checkout.
Hopefully I will take some pictures of my table saw this weekend and post them to better explain what I mean.

Yeah, think they're pretty good too - just been setting up my new tablesaw with a Wixey angle gauge and the wifes mitre guillotine. Lot easier than using squares and very accurate. Machine-DRO.co.uk have got them on sale at the moment.

Thanks for the advice guys. Quite a difference in the prices .... Gem Red at £10.60 at Appleby Woodturnings but £15.95 at Axminster whilst the Wixey is £24.46 plus VAT AT Machine-DRO.

Is the Wixey twice as good as the Gem Red I wonder?

I have the one linked in the original postm the battery died after a few weeks and it is also now showing correctly now. When the blades are folded together for storage it reads 0.8degrees. So I have to zero it before each use which isn't ideal as I sometimes zero again to read another angle.
