I have the opportunity to purchase a single phase Startrite 351SB bandsaw from a local college. I've bring trying to establish any difference between the 351S and 352S. Can't find a definitive answer, the best I can establish is that the 352S offers 2 speed operation as opposed to single speed on the 351S.

The spare parts diagram for both machines appear to be the same

https://startrite-spares.co.uk/startrite/vertical-spares/351s-352s/

and the description of the upper assembly

https://startrite-spares.co.uk/startrite/vertical-spares/351s-352s/351s-351e-352s-upper/

I understand the B suffix designates a model for educational establishments, where there are locks etc to control access / use of the bandsaw.

Anyone aware of any other difference?

Mike
