Just purchased one of the above off amazon

Out of the box I could feel play on the slider/plunge of the blade

Two test cuts reveal the slot for a 20 biscuit being 0.5mm out of parallel with the surface of the material

My question is, are they all like this or is mine a one off. This level of inaccuracy appears unacceptable for something bearing the dewalt name or am I just being naïve

My grotty old screwfix ferm which was about a fifth of the price is more accurate

Thanks in anticipation

Mine is bang on, had it a few years now. I've not bought Dewalt for a while maybe quality has dropped. I would send it back for an exchange.

I've had my Dewalt biscuit jointer for about 8 years, it was accurate straight out of the box and has always remained so.
