Hi All, just bought a record vice from these as it was on special offer at £59.99 with free delivery, i went with the plain screw one as i don't really need q/r on it, cheapest i have found anywhere for this model,

vice arrived this afternoon, can't fault the service, well packaged and clearly labelled, as for the vice it's a beasty, i know that Irwin Record is not the same as Record of yesteryear, but the quality seems there, very solid construction, smooth action and very heavy, so all in all i am very pleased with my purchase, just need to fit it now,

I've used Cromwell for a few things - they seem pretty good service wise and are consistently cheap.

this was my first experience dealing with them, but service and value i can't fault them and i will definately use them again, in fact i have my eye on a tenon saw from them,
