Yes, Cornwall Association of Woodturners. It's a great day - wr only do it every second year, it's a lot of organisation. Kim Moore from http://www.cornwallhardwoodsupplies.co.uk brings a large trailer of wood for sale - and he has some superb stuff. If anyone is ever near Camborne, it's worth giving him a ring. He has a guy come down from Suffolk to buy by the lorry load, so has got to be good.

Just a post to give it a further bump.

Does sound like a very good day out, but just a bit outside of my travel zone. (Slight Agoraphobia problem developed since my retirement).

Thanks for posting the link to (Cornwall Hard Wood Supplies).

Chris.

Yes, it's an amazing place. Kim has some absolutely stunning timber - I got some burr mulberry last I was there. Expensive, but how often do you see burr mulberry? It came from the Duke of Southampton's estate. You think as you drive up oh, it's a tinpot little timber place on a farm as a sideline - then  you just see huge boles ... and more ... and more ... then the barn ...
